Over the last two years, our house has gone through a lot of transformations.  Here are a few of the before and after photos:

 The exterior of the house has come a long way, baby!  We removed some trees, updated the landscaping in front of the house, installed storm doors, painted the existing doors black and added shutters.  There are still a few projects in the works (paint the garage doors black and frame out the house with white trim) but those are on the summer 2012 to-do list.

 I can't believe that we are actually done with this project.  It was a doozy!!!  I've got to say, though, that the hardest part part was ripping up the beautiful red brick linoleum floors...they were classic!!  To read more about the transformation, check out here, here, here, here, here and here (phew...).

I don't have a great before picture for this one, but the buttery color gives you a little bit of an idea.  There were yellow square tiles up the wall and on the floor, a yellow sink and....yep, you guessed it, a yellow toilet!  Priceless!!!  - FYI, the ENTIRE house...if you notice from the pictures...was YELLOW!!  Every piece of molding, trim, even the baseboard heaters....YIKES!!)

We removed the carpet the same night we closed on the house.  We really just wanted to make sure that there was wood underneath like the rest of the house.  Side note: I am allergic to dust.  So, I took a Benadryl about halfway through the tear-out session, and let's just say, I passed out not long after and was little help for the rest of the night.  How romantic, huh?  No champagne for me dear!  Haha.
